Chlorine is the main disinfectant used for the treatment of swimming pool water. Its function is to eliminate pathogens found in the water obtaining a clean water free of bacteria.

Alboral chlorine tablets are perfect to start the season and for daily or weekly pool maintenance. 

We distinguish three types of chlorine for the maintenance of the pool

• Rapid granulated chlorine or dichlorine: perfect for shock chlorination, after a storm or for the beginning of the season.
• Chlorine tablets or trichlor: ideal for daily/weekly pool maintenance 
• Multi-action chlorine: composed of several components such as flocculant, anti-algae...

In this case the fast chlorine in tablets Alboral being tablets of 20 gr are fast dissolving so it can be used for the beginning of the season or for weekly maintenance. If it is necessary to make a shock chlorination we would recommend the fast granulated chlorine or dichlorine.

Instructions for use of Alboral chlorine tablets 

1. Check pH level and adjust to optimum values 7.2 -7.6
2. Place the tablets in the skimmer or prefilter of the pump:

           - For start of season treatment add 10-15 tablets per 50 m³ of water.
           - For maintenance treatment add 6-9 tablets per 50 m³ of water daily or according to consumption.

Doses are indicative and may vary depending on temperature, hours of sunshine, number of bathers ....

NOTE: total chlorine values (0.5 - 1.5 ppm) and free chlorine values (1 - 3 ppm).

It is important to check the pH and chlorine levels 2-3 times a week and regulate the values to obtain crystal clear water.
