Injection valve of Seko dosing pump 

For a correct functioning of the dosing pump it is important that all the elements that compose it are in good condition. For this reason we supply the original Seko spare parts and in this way you will be able to replace worn or damaged parts and have a dosing pump in perfect condition. 

The injection valve is placed at one end of the white tube. The white tube is used to connect the discharge valve of the dosing pump at one end and the injection valve at the other end directly to the pipe where the dosed chemical is injected. 

In addition, the function of the injection valve is to allow the fluid to be injected into the pipeline but prevent it from flowing back to the dosing pump. 

It is important that this valve is in perfect condition to ensure proper operation and therefore to be able to deliver the dosed product.

Different types of injection valves are available depending on the material:

  • PVDF or PVDF-T: PVDF is a plastic material characterized by excellent chemical resistance. It is waterproof, withstands high temperatures, frost... PVDF-T is a material that does not have as many properties as PVDF, so we recommend that depending on the liquid to be dosed, such as sulfuric acid, the PVDF material should be used.
  • Seals in FKM-B (Viton) or EPDM: the choice of one type of seal or the other will depend on the liquid to be dosed. For example, if liquid chlorine is to be dosed, it is recommended to use Viton seals because it is a more aggressive chemical product. 

The Seko injection valve is compatible with the following models:

How do I know which injection valve to choose for my dosing pump

When selecting the metering pump model or its spare parts, it is essential to take into account the coding found on the side label. This coding not only identifies the model, but also provides crucial information, such as the hydraulic characteristics, the materials of the various components, the power supply...

We consider the Seko Kompact AML200NHH1000 model to explain the coding:

1. The first field is the model: AML

2. The second field the hydraulic characteristic: 200

3. The third field is the voltage: N

4. The fourth field is the head material: H

To choose the injection valve it will be necessary to consider this field.

There are different types of seals:

 - FKM-B: also known as Viton, it is specifically used for acid products.

 - EPDM: type of gasket used for products such as soda, alkaline products, etc.

 - FFKM: used in applications where high resistance to chemicals, high temperatures and extreme conditions is required.
