Old ESPA models and their equivalents

The manufacturer ESPA has been renewing its pumps to improve their performance. If you have an old pump, it is possible that it has undergone design changes, but many of these models have equivalents in the current range, maintaining the same power output and flow rate, although with some differences in dimensions and installation dimensions.

Replacing ESPA Pumps: Old Models and their current models

ESPA's history is long and there are still some old models in existence, but that is not a problem as we have compatible models so that your pool continues to work efficiently.

Below, we show you the equivalents of the old models with their corresponding current models:

- Flipper 1: The equivalent pump would be the Silen S. They maintain the same power and flow, but there are differences in the dimensions.

- Flipper 2: The equivalent pump would be the Silen S2. They maintain the same power and flow, but there are differences in dimensions.

- Snipper: The equivalent pump would be the Silen I. They maintain the same power and flow, but there are differences in dimensions.

- Squiper: The equivalent pump would be the Silen S. They maintain the same power and flow, but there are differences in dimensions.

- Tifon 1: The equivalent pump is the Silen S2. They have the same power, flow rate and suction and discharge levels, but the dimensions vary between models. For example, the Tifon 1 is 7 cm taller than the Silen S2 model.

Update of ESPA pump models

In 2016, ESPA revamped the design of its pumps, updating some of its older models with improved versions. Below, we show you how the old models have been replaced and what alternatives are available:

- Iris: The equivalent pump is Silen I. They are completely interchangeable, with the same hydraulic performance and the same dimensions.

- Silen 2: The equivalent pump is Silen S2. They are totally interchangeable, with the same hydraulic performance and the same dimensions.

- Silen: This model has undergone some modifications and may require adjustments during installation. The equivalent pump is the Silen S, but in some cases we can also offer you the ESPA NOX model, which does not require modifications during installation.
