Description

Calcium hypochlorite for swimming pools

Calcium hypochlorite is a product used for water treatment and is highly effective against bacteria, algae and other microorganisms. In this way we will obtain a clean and disinfected water.

It is indicated for maintenance or for shock treatments in pools with a high level of stabilizer.

It is not stabilized chlorine, so it does NOT contain isocyanuric acid. In this way, the chlorine will have a faster efficacy so it will be consumed in less time. It contains 70% of active chlorine.

Dosing calcium hypochlorite

Adjust the pH between 7,2-7,6

RITOCAL 1 KG GRANULATE: Beginning of the season: add 10g/m³.

RITOCAL 5 KG TABLETS: Add once a week one tablet per 20 m³ of water, placing it in the skimmer or in a floating dispenser.

Maintenance: test free chlorine level and maintain between 1-2 ppm.

Shock treatment: add 20 g/m³

NOTE: If you have a salt electrolysis pool, Ritocal can only be used if the product does not pass through the chlorinator.

In this example of installation, you can close the two valves that we show framed and in this way it will not pass through the chlorinator.
