Slow dissolving chlorine

Trichlor tablets or slow dissolving chlorine tablets contain 90% of useful chlorine and therefore allow a continuous chlorination avoiding the loss of chlorine due to the effects of the sun. This allows for slower dosing and therefore greater effectiveness over longer periods.

Chlorine tablets are a good idea for weekly pool water maintenance to keep the water clean and disinfected. The duration of the disinfectant will depend on the hours of operation, water flow, temperature, among other factors. 

TO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT: In swimming pools made with liner, polyester, vinyl or painted, it should not enter in direct contact, since it can produce discolorations.

Swimming pool disinfection treatment

1. Beginning of season
2. Adjust pH to 7,2-7,6 ppm
3. Shock chlorinate with granulated fast chlorine
4. Put the filtration system in operation
5. Follow weekly treatment

Weekly treatment

1. Check pH level and adjust to 7.2-7.6 ppm
2. Insert tablets into dosing unit or skimmer
3. Adjust dosage to maintain a free chlorine level of 1-1.5 ppm
4. Leave the equipment in filtration

Shock treatment

1. Adjust pH to 7.2-7.6 ppm
2. Add 10 g of granulated fast chlorine 
3. Dilute the product in a bucket with water and spread it throughout the pool.
4. Leave the equipment in filtration for a few hours
