Variable speed drive [e] POOL
- Speed control system for public swimming pool pumps.
- For incorporation into a three-phase current pump.
- Two drive options: 11 amps or 30 amps
- Save up to 70% on electricity consumption
Save energy in your pool with the E-POOL variable speed drive
A variable frequency drive or variable speed drive is a device that allows you to control the speed of an electric motor by modulating the power supply frequency. Saci's e-pool variable speed drive is specially designed for swimming pools, allowing to control the speed of the water pump motor and, therefore, the speed of the water circulating in the pool.
Using a variable speed drive such as Saci's e-Pool has several advantages or benefits, among which the following stand out:
Energy savings
By being able to control the speed of the water pump motor, the speed can be adjusted to the real needs of the pool at all times. This reduces energy consumption and, therefore, saves on electricity bills.
Longer component life
By reducing the speed of the water pump, the pressure in the pipes and filters is reduced, which helps to extend the service life of the components of the filter system and the water pump.
Noise reduction
By reducing the speed of the water pump motor, the noise generated by the filtration system and water pump is reduced.
Improved water quality
By being able to adjust the speed of the water flowing through the pool, filtration can be optimized and pool water quality can be improved.
In short, using a variable speed drive such as the Saci e-Pool has multiple benefits in terms of energy efficiency, component life, noise reduction and improved pool water quality.
It is important to note that this variable speed drive can only be fitted to three-phase pumps.
Two models of the [e] POOL variable speed control system are available:
- [e] POOL (TT3-11): for three-phase pumps up to 5.5 hp, up to 11 amps.
- [e] POOL (TT3-30): for three-phase pumps up to 20 HP, up to 30 amperage.
Additional benefits of the E-POOL variable speed drive: saves on maintenance costs, chemicals, water and prolongs the life of the pool pump.
In addition to the benefits mentioned above, incorporating a variable speed drive saves additional costs such as:
- Maintenance cost savings: by reducing the speed of the water pump motor, component wear and tear is reduced, which can reduce the need for repairs and maintenance.
- Reduced pool chemical costs: By improving pool water quality with more effective and accurate filtration, the amount of chemicals needed to keep the water clean and healthy can be reduced.
- Reduced water costs: By reducing the amount of water lost to evaporation due to excessive circulation, you can save on water costs
- Increased water pump life: By allowing soft start and reduced speed on the water pump, mechanical and electrical stress is reduced, which can extend the life of the pump.
E-POOL: the ideal variable speed drive for your filtration system
The [e]POOL variable speed drive has been designed for high comfort and maximum reduction of energy costs, in addition to providing the following benefits:
- Significant energy savings due to the fact that the pump can modify its working speed to the requirements of the installation.
- Different working speeds for different programming
- Communication between several pumps
- Alternation of work by time
- Automatic filter cleaning system
- Motor overload protection due to consumption
- Self-learning system for the constant search of the parameters that determine a dry operation
In addition:
In installations with several pumps, the drive will communicate and alternate with the other drives so that the pumps work the same number of hours. In addition, it is capable of running several pumps at the same time.
