Description
Astralpool pool pressure gauge
One of the most important elements for the control of the pool is the pressure gauge that incorporates the filter. This element is used to measure the pressure at which the filter is located.
The normal working pressure of the pool circuit must be between 0.6 and 1 bar.
When the working pressure exceeds the optimum
It is due to the fact that the dirt of the swimming pool has accumulated in the filter and causes that the sand is compacted and does not let the water go out. To solve this problem, the filter must be washed and rinsed. If this does not solve the problem, the condition of the sand should be checked and if it is too compacted it should be changed. It is recommended to change the sand every 4-5 years.
When the working pressure is lower than optimum
It can be due to several factors, because the pre-filter basket is clogged by leaves or other debris or because of a problem in the motor.
