Total alkalinity indicates the quantity of alkaline components (carbonates, bicarbonates and hydroxides) dissolved in the water of the pool, while it is important it is correctly set to be able to run a water in perfect condition.

-The deficiency of alkalinity produced:

• Corrosion and stains on the metal parts and accessories of the swimming pool.
• Makes it difficult to adjust and control the pH.

-The excess of alkalinity produced:

• Increase in the pH.
• Cloudy water
• Irritation of the eyes, ears, nose and throat of bathers.
• The formation of incrustations on walls and accessories of the swimming pool.

Dosage and employment

Add 1,8 kg of product to increase in 10 ppm total alkalinity of 100m3 of water, this being a dose of guidance.

The total alkalinity should be between 125-150 ppm, controlling by a test kit once a week.

Pour the necessary dose of product dissolved in water, and spread the solution on the surface of the pool by an equal.
