Puremax Reverse Osmosis Cartridges

The Puremax reverse osmosis is a water treatment equipment consisting of 5 stages which are composed of 4 filter and a membrane.

In the following image we show the Puremax osmosis indicating each filter and its function:

1. Sediment filter: removes suspended particles through a 5 micron sediment filter made of high quality pressed polypropylene. The particles are embedded in this material thanks to the absorption of the high number of open micro-pores.  It reduces impurities, sand, oxides, etc. Cartridge with high retention capacity and low pressure loss.

2. GAC granular activated carbon filter: cartridge for effective reduction of taste and odor, especially the elimination of chlorine in water. It is made of top quality activated carbon with high absorption capacity and low pressure loss.

3. Compact carbon block filter: cartridge for the effective reduction of tastes and odours, especially the elimination of chlorine in water. The cartridges manufactured in block also have a filtration capacity of approximately 10 microns. Made of hot extruded activated carbon, maximum retention performance and low pressure drop.

4. Semi-permeable membrane: acts as a selective separation wall, retains suspended solids and other substances. Built in polyamide in spiral winding.

• Useful life: 2 to 5 years ( depending on use and water characteristics )

5. Post filter active carbon spike: filters the stored water ensuring a pleasant taste and smell
