Description

Seko dosing pumps

SEKO pumps represent a versatile solution for the precise injection of liquids into a wide range of pipes and pipelines, from small pools to large aquatic installations. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments, these pumps are designed to measure a variety of parameters such as pH, ORP, conductivity, chlorine, oxygen, turbidity, ozone, bromine and more, depending on the model. In our attachments, you will find a detailed list indicating the compatibility of the body, seals and tubing of the dosing pumps with various chemicals, thus facilitating the selection of the most suitable equipment for your dosing needs.

Tekna dosing pump

The Tekna Series comprises a range of solenoid driven metering pumps, available in analog or digital versions, with constant or proportional dosing options. These versatile metering pumps ensure high performance in a variety of applications and offer exceptional reliability by ensuring chemical compatibility in their wetted components. Depending on your specific pressure, flow and application requirements, you can select from Tekna AKS, AKL, APG, TPG, TPR and TCK models to obtain the desired performance.

Tekna Evo APG features

  • Analog electromagnetic pump with manually adjustable flow rate, proportional dosing (4÷ 20mA) or digital (water meter).
  • Standard power supply 100÷ 240 Vac 50-60 Hz
  • Standard head in PVDF
  • PTFE membrane
  • Built-in valve for manual purging
  • Glass-fiber reinforced PP casing with IP65 protection
  • Inlet for level probe or flow sensor

The Tekna APG pump has multiple functionalities:

  • Constant mode

The pump doses manually at the percentage selected with the potentiometer.

  • 4-20mA mode

The pump doses proportionally to a signal between 4 and 20mA. At 4 mA the pump is stopped, at 20 mA the pump doses at the percentage selected with the potentiometer.

  • Split mode (1,4,10 =n)

The pump after having received (1 or 4 or 10 external impulses) and with the potentiometer at 100% of the regulation, gives a stroke. The potentiometer allows to reduce in percentage the maximum dosage.

  • Multiplier mode (n=1÷10)

The pump, for each external impulse received (impulse trigger counter), gives "n" strokes as in the red regulation scale of the potentiometer (1-10). At the first received signal the pump doses "n" strokes at the maximum frequency, therefore it automatically distributes the "n" strokes measuring the time between two successive impulses, for a maximum of 60 seconds, then the pump doses again at the maximum frequency, restarting the time counting. The pump is also equipped with a memory alarm that signals if during the dosing of the "n" strokes it receives other external signals (pulse counter).

  • Dip-switch management

The SEL key is used to select the different operating modes, the selection of the dip-switches inside the pump allows further specialization of the functions.

Guide for the selection of dosing pumps

When selecting the metering pump model or its spare parts, it is essential to take into account the coding found on the side label. This coding not only identifies the model, but also provides crucial information, such as hydraulic characteristics, materials of the different components, power supply...

We consider the model APG600NHH0000 to explain the coding:

1. The first field corresponds to the model: APG

2. The second field corresponds to the hydraulic characteristics: 600

hidraulica

3. The third field refers to the voltage of the dosing pumps: N

alimentación

4. The fourth field refers to the head material: H

cabezal

5. The fifth field refers to the installation kit: H

kit instalacion

6. The sixth field refers to the seals: 0

The seals are crucial components in a dosing pump, and their choice must be based on the nature of the liquid to be dosed. We recommend that you consult the compatibility table to identify the most suitable seals according to the type of liquid you are dosing.

  • FKM-B or Viton: normally used for acidic products.
  • EPDM: normally used for alkaline products.
