Description

Seko dosing pump valves

For a correct operation of the dosing pump it is important that all the elements that compose it are in good condition. For this reason we supply the original Seko spare parts and in this way you will be able to replace worn or damaged parts and have a dosing pump in perfect condition.

The dosing pumps are composed of two types of valves: the suction valve and the discharge valve.

The suction valve is located at the bottom of the metering pump. The transparent hose connects one end to the suction valve of the dosing pump and the other end to the foot valve that goes inside the chemical product.

The discharge valve is the one on the top of the dosing pump. The white hose connects one end to the discharge valve of the pump and the other end to the injection valve that allows the chemical to be injected directly into the pipeline. This injection valve has a mechanism to prevent water backflow.

One of the requirements to choose one model or another of valves is the type of gaskets. We differentiate between Viton gaskets (FPM) or EPDM gaskets and one or the other will be chosen depending on the liquid to be dosed.  the type of seals. We differentiate between Viton seals (FPM) or EPDM seals and one or the other will be chosen depending on the liquid to be dosed.

Seko suction and discharge valves are compatible with the following models:

    • Tekna AKS / Tekna TPR / Tekna TPG / Tekna AKL / Tekna TCK / Tekna Atex
    • Tekba
    • Komba
    • Maxima
    • Kompact

How do I know which valve set to choose for my dosing pump

When selecting the metering pump model or its spare parts, it is essential to take into account the coding found on the side label. This coding not only identifies the model, but also provides crucial information, such as the hydraulic characteristics, the materials of the various components, the power supply...

We consider the Seko Tekna model AKL800NHP0000 to explain the coding:

1. The first field is the model: AKL

2. The second field is the hydraulic characteristic: 800

3. The third field is the voltage: N

4. The fourth field is the head material: H

5. The fifth field is the installation kit: P

6. The sixth field is the seals: 0

To choose the correct valves it will be necessary to consider this field.

There are different types of seals:

 - FKM-B: also known as Viton, it is specifically used for acidic products.

 - EPDM: type of gasket used for products such as soda, alkaline products, etc.

 - PTFE: also known as Teflon, universal resistance and high sealing properties

 - FFKM: used in applications where high resistance to chemicals, high temperatures and extreme conditions is required.

7. The seventh field is standard: 0

9. The eighth field is customizations:00

For this particular model, AKL800NHP0000 the appropriate valves would be code EM99070105 , choosing:

  • Seals: Viton (FKM-B)
  • Range: Tekna
  • Tube: 4x6 - 4x7

Please refer to the following table to check the compatible valves:

Code Seals Tekba Komba Tekna Kompact Maxima Tube
EM99070105 VITÓN (FKM-B) X X X X X 4x6 - 4x7
EM99070106 VITÓN (FKM-B) X X X 8x10 - 8x12
EM99070131 EPDM X X X X X 4x6 - 4x7
EM99070132 EPDM X X X 8x10 - 8x12
EM99107163 PTFE X X X X 4x6 - 4x7
EM99107162 PTFE X X X 8x10 - 8x12
EM99070194 VITÓN (FFKM) X X X 4x6 - 4x7
