PVC foot check valve

The foot valve is a type of check valve but this one has a filter and its main function is to prevent the discharge of the pressure line. It is installed at the base of the suction pipe of a pump, between the pump and the tank, thus allowing the fluid to pass but preventing it from flowing back into the tank. 

The operation is fully automatic by means of a spring that closes the passage and makes the fluid flow backwards. In addition, this type of non-return valves incorporate a filter that prevents the transmission of dirt or other elements that may obstruct the passage of the fluid. They are used in tap systems, gardening and for any type of pumps and hoses.

Assembly instructions 

1. Loosen the nuts on the valve and separate them from the sleeves.
2. Insert the nuts into the pipes and fix the sleeves on the pipe ends.
3. Use PVC-U or rigid PVC-C pipe adhesive for the joints to be glued and do not apply pressure until 1 hour per bar.
4. In the joints to be threaded, place PTFE tape on the male threads.
5. Place the valve between the sleeves and tighten the nuts on the valve.
