Reinforced PP collar

Cepex PVC fittings are manufactured according to the EN 1452 standard, offering the highest quality and guarantee for the conduction of pressurized liquids, as demonstrated by the certifications: AENOR, AFNOR, NF....

The tapping collars are pipe fittings whose function is to adjust PVC or PE pipes to prevent water leakage. They have been designed to make derivations in water networks.

This collar incorporates a metal ring to reinforce the fitting and provide greater resistance. Its use is recommended if the fitting to be threaded is metallic.

Mounting instructions

Remove external impurities from the pipe.
Make sure that the O-ring is correctly positioned.
Couple the upper part of the collar with the lower part on the pipe.
Insert the bolts, thread and tighten the nuts diagonally alternately.
Drill the pipe taking special care not to damage the gasket or the pipe near the sealing area. Use suitable tools.
